Spirit and Image Poster
This is the artwork for a promotional poster use to promote issue #1 of “Spirit and Image”. One of the really fun parts about doing the comic book was that it gave me a chance to really get into and study the Maya culture. In this illustration I got to study and borrow some ideas from one of my favorite artist Diego Rivera a man who really captured the soul of Mexico’s exciting heritage. This illustration shows the large shadow our tiny hero Mocum & his friends must grow into.
